RMS Utilities is going to install a new manhole on West Wall Street, then continue to perform the sewer line replacement from Basham Park up the alley to this new manhole on West Wall Street.
They will then continue the sewer line replacement from West Wall Street north up the alley to an existing manhole that is located just south of N. 1st Street. This section of the project may take a little longer due to the very limited work space and the larger number of sanitary lateral connections, but RMS Utilities is going to do their best to finish this portion of the project in as timely a manner as possible. If all goes well and the weather cooperates, the tentative schedule is to have this area of the project completed in approximately 2 weeks.
Also, please note the 2 "Staging Areas" on the map as well as these are locations that will be used for staging material and/or equipment during this particular section of the project in order to help speed up the installation process. (authorization from the Creede Historical Society has been granted to utilize a portion of their property/parking area along W. Wall Street for the shown "Staging Area" on the map)
This particular section of the project can be an inconvenience to businesses and staff members, but this project is in desperate need of completion (along with other areas of the City), and your anticipated patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated!! Planning ahead will also help tremendously in reducing the impact of this project in this particular area.
